Emergency Response & Scene Management

  • treat burns, scalds, splinters, and bruises

  • Address and treat minor injuries, fractures, sprains, strains, and dislocations

  • Treat burns, including chemical and electrical burns, and recognise burn severity

  • Apply correct burn treatment procedures

  • Develop practical skills through advanced training and scenarios

Infection Control & Compliance
  • Prevent cross-infection and follow regulations for recording and reporting

  • Maintain and utilise first aid kits effectively

Airway & Breathing Emergencies
  • Respond to poisoning, heart attacks, strokes, seizures, shock, fainting, choking, heat exhaustion, heat stroke

  • Recognise and treat medical conditions such as asthma, diabetes, anaphylaxis, meningitis, and sepsis

  • Address complex medical conditions with broader medical knowledge

  • Respond to eye/ear injuries, spinal injury, chest injury and hypothermia

  • Provide detailed responses for choking and drowning incidents

  • Address respiratory system issues with effective techniques

  • Practice with mannequins and choking vests

  • Recognise and treat chemical and electrical burns

  • Recognise burn severity and apply appropriate treatment procedures
